The BOHS IP404 Air Monitoring, Clearance Inspections and Reoccupation Following the Removal of Asbestos, is the international asbestos qualification recognised by Worksafe NZ for Asbestos Assessors. The course provides a range of theory and practical knowledge for those conducting asbestos removal and remediation projects. This includes the duties and responsibilities of an independent asbestos assessor who is required to ensure that control measures are effective and that the affected areas where asbestos removal has occurred is safe to re-occupy at the end of the project.
This qualification covers the skills and knowledge an asbestos assessor needs, from air monitoring and clearance testing through to reporting findings, conducting the four-stage clearance and issuing the final clearance certificate.
Industry Training Academy Limited is also able to offer asbestos training under the umbrella of the British Occupation Hygiene Society (BOHS). The BOHS Faculty is the only United Kingdom examining board for professional, postgraduate qualification in occupational hygiene. This includes offering a number of courses specifically relating to asbestos management, awareness and surveying. We are Registered Course Providers of the British Occupational Hygiene Society Asbestos Units.
